You will assist the Clinical Director of Intensive Care Services to ensure clinical services provided are of the highest standard and delivered in an efficient and effective manner.
You will participate in the education and supervision of trainees and other medical staff, medical students, allied health and nursing staff.
Selection criteria FCICM or equivalent. High level knowledge and skills across a range of intensive care medicine with ability to work independently in a regional ICU. As team leader in the ICU you will be able to manage processes of assessment, admission, ongoing care, transfers and discharges in a fast moving critical care environment. First class communication skills. Adaptable - to quickly fit into a small , high performance team. Interest in educating and developing junior medical staff including ability to teach under and postgrad levels. Commitment to best practice clinical governance and quality improvement.
