Please demonstrate how you can meet these requirements and why you are a good fit for this role:Form & maintain internal & external relationships with key staff, Indigenous stakeholders, planners, designers, architects, government representatives & other stakeholders to achieve relevant project, client, community & company goals.Prioritise the voice of key Indigenous stakeholders in all Engagement & Place projects & encourage our clients to do likewise.Work with your Director & the broader senior leadership team to contribute to a number of projects in line with contractual & budgetary constraints.Ensure the principles identified in the NSW Government Architect Office' Connecting with Country Framework, the NSW Government Aboriginal Affairs Ochre Plan & other relevant documents are adopted & integrated into relevant projects.Assist in the delivery of place strategy workshops.Work with our clients to improve their understanding of the importance of appropriate engagement with Indigenous people, the issues & opportunities.Conduct regular research to identify trends, inspirational stories & opportunities that may inspire our clients to do more than originally planned, to create change – 'blue sky thinking'.Contribute to the preparation & writing of grant applications, tenders, proposals, reports, presentations & other project related documents.Support other aspects of Murawin's broader consulting & research work as negotiated with the senior leadership team.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCETertiary qualifications in any of the following (or related fields): Planning, Anthropology, Design, Community Development, Architecture, Sociology.A minimum of 3 years' experience in your field of expertise & an ability to contextualise it to the Indigenous place strategy arena.Experience working in an intercultural context, preferably across the Indigenous sector.Ability to work collaboratively in a team, as well as contribute to several projects & tasks concurrently with tight deadlines.Demonstrated high-level written & oral communication skills, including outstanding interpersonal skills, demonstrating a capability to work with a diversity of clients, including government bodies, community organisations, small to medium businesses & large national & multi-national corporates.Some project management experience, with an ability to ensure your work is delivered on time, within budget constraints & in-line with agreed requirements.An appreciation for & understanding of the impacts & issues affecting land use & development as they relate to Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples.Ability to write clear & concise advice, submissions & reports.The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balance multiple priorities, work under pressure & meet strict deadlines.Ability to maintain confidentiality & professional standards of behaviour in difficult & sensitive circumstances.If you have any questions about the role please contact Siem Salem at using the subject line: Consultant, Engagement & Place Team enquiry via EthicalJobs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
