Consultant, Digital Forensics & Investigations | Technology Our Technology practice is at the forefront of the evolving landscape of data management and investigation. As a Consultant in our Digital Forensics and Investigations team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge forensic services to our clients. You'll receive comprehensive training in critical areas such as data collection and extraction, forensic analysis, and expert reporting, spanning both traditional and emerging cloud technologies. This role promises to equip you with a diverse and robust skill set, ensuring you're ready to thrive in this dynamic and rapidly evolving field.
What You'll Do
Use coding and scripting skills to solve data challenges in cloud-based platforms. Utilise cutting-edge software to extract, handle, and analyse data from cloud services, mobile devices, computers, and other emerging technologies. Secure and preserve electronic evidence according to forensic standards, both in our lab and on-site at client locations in the UK and abroad. Conduct forensic analysis and compile reports on a wide range of digital evidence under the guidance of senior team members. Collaborate with clients and senior staff to manage projects and fulfil client requests effectively. Maintain a strong focus on client service to meet client deadlines, including flexibility in working hours as necessary. Travel as required to forensically preserve data at client locations, sometimes at short notice. Research and keep abreast of the latest technologies and their impact on the digital forensics realm. What You Will Need to Succeed

Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to collaborate across teams. Experience:
Interest in developing solutions for cloud platforms, exposure to REST and other APIs, an advantage and familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Discord). Familiarity with forensic principles and technologies. Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, or PowerShell. Exposure to software development lifecycles. Keen interest in how AI and machine learning can be applied in digital forensics to streamline processes, optimise data analysis, and identify anomalies. Experience in digital forensics, e-Discovery, or a related technology role, or relevant academic projects. Knowledge of forensic imaging and analysis tools (e.g., Encase, Cellebrite, X-Ways, Guymager). Our goal is to support the well-being of you and your families—physically, emotionally, and financially.
