Confluence Water, the Ventia, Downer and Jacobs joint venture, is one of three consortia delivering services under Sydney Water's Partnering for Success program. Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water's North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.
We currently have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our growing reservoir program. In this exciting, new role, you will act as the overall project build owner and be responsible for cost, time, HSEQ and risk management to deliver a successful project. This team focuses on the construction of Sydney Water's reservoirs in the North Region.
You will have overall Project Management responsibility of your assigned projects from RFQ through Stage 1 and 2 to close out. The range of projects we are responsible for are varied and service over 2 million customers across the region.
As such, the projects you will manage will be of varying size and scope, with differing values, structures, people, and locations in drinking water assets. Across the life of the project you will be involved in scoping, design, costing, procurement, supply chain, estimating, Inspection/test planning, documentation, incident management, zero harm, safety/environment and risk mitigations and ongoing stakeholder management - setting expectations throughout the project milestone dates and budgets and coaching of Construction Project Engineers and Construction Site Engineers on construction methods, procedures and correct ways of working.
Working in partnership with Sydney Water, you will understand the scope of works, specifications, and desired performance outcomes for any of your given projects to ensure the project is a success. This is an opportunity to leave a positive legacy in the communities in which we work through improved water services.
