This is a key appointment for the business, and it is hoped that the successful candidate will grow into a leadership role in the medium term.Our client has become a recognized builder within the high-end Residential, Mixed-Commercial & Sports/Recreation sectors, successfully winning & delivering projects between $5-30M. Working closely with the Directors, this rare opportunity provides a clear pathway into a management role within the company and will offer the chance to expand their team in the short to medium term.The successful candidate will join a young but very experienced, fast-growing business that has had significant success over their 7 years in business. This role is suitable for those at an intermediate level who are motivated and keen to progress quickly, as well as more established seniors eager to move into management & have a broader influence over the company's operations.Responsibilities:Analyze plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.Utilize industry-leading software and tools to produce detailed cost breakdowns and pricing proposals.Collaborate with project managers, designers, and suppliers to gather all necessary information for accurate estimates.Conduct thorough research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative materials without compromising quality.Monitor project progress and provide ongoing support to address any changes or revisions to initial estimates.Background Required5-10 years' experience as an estimator within the commercial building sector.Experience in commercial projects between $5 – 50M.Proficiency in reading architectural drawings and specifications.Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software and tools.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.For more information, you can get in touch with Liam Glynn on 0412 966 482 or ****** Recruitment are specialists in recruitment for the Construction, Engineering Infrastructure & Manufacturing industries on a national basis.
