Company Description Pact Group's Contract Manufacturing Division manufactures across several operational sites and supplies a wide range of homecare and personal care categories to all the major retailers and global FMCG brand owners.
Job Description About this opportunity Contract Manufacturing is underway in the execution of a 5 year strategy with a focus on improve performance, drive sustainable growth, build leading capability and engagement.
Reporting to the Shift Operations Manager, the primary purpose of the Compounder/Blender position is to mix and/or blend bulk product, in accordance with the production schedule, to pre-determined formulations and quality standards.
Your key responsibilities will be to: Mix and/or blend product components in accordance with client specifications.
Gather ingredients where required Prepare line filling tanks based on production schedule and filling line capacity.
Ensure secondary tanks are ready on long fill runs to enable a seamless changeover of filling.
Take samples to laboratory for analysis to confirm filling product is in accordance with client specifications.
Completion of appropriate documentation for quality and traceability purposes.
Operates/understands the Scada system that controls the manufacturing plant.
Works to achieve optimum WHSE outcomes for production area through a positive safety mindset and following safety procedures and reporting.
Attending workshops and training sessions.
Provide training to others as appropriate.
Area housekeeping   Communicate closely with the shift supervisor Your skills and experience To be successful in this role, you'll have: A keen eye for detail Forklift license Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills Working/Functional knowledge of SAP or any other system would be an advantage (not essential) Results oriented and takes initiative with the ability to learn and adapt quickly Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills Additional Information About us Our vision is to lead the circular economy through packaging, reuse and recycling solutions.
