About the role
Reporting to the RTO Manager, this 20 hour per week position is responsible for coordinating the compliance calendar; overseeing state funding internal audits; and ensuring policies, procedures and associated documents are kept up to date. Working closely with both the RTO Manager/Student Engagement Coordinator and training teams to ensure all regulatory and funding contract requirements are met.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Regulatory Adherence: Monitor and interpret relevant education and training VET regulations, standards, funding contract requirements and guidelines to ensure Brite's compliance accordingly.
Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, policies, and procedures to support Brite's compliance efforts.
Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to continually improve educational VET offerings and administrative practices.
Auditing and Reporting: Participate in regular internal audits to identify areas for improvement, preparing comprehensive reports for management and external authorities.
Student Records Oversight: Manage student records with strict confidentiality, accuracy, and in line with data protection regulations.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and external partners to provide guidance, address inquiries, and ensure alignment with compliance objectives.
Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver compliance training programs to enhance staff awareness and understanding of regulations and protocols.
About you:
Excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise and collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
Demonstrate professionalism and the ability to manage critical and competing priorities.
Demonstrated experience working both independently and as a team; providing support and guidance to compliance queries.

Skills and Experience:
Appropriate qualifications and or experience
Thorough knowledge of VRQA Standards SNR 2015 and their application
Knowledge of VET funding contract reporting requirements (VIC)
Databases – Intermediate skills in LMS and SMS systems
Certificate IV in Training and Assessments (TAE40110 / 40116) - preferred but not essential.
