We love what we do and now have the opportunity to welcome a new Companion Animal Practice Manager to the team.
The CA Practice Manager is responsible for the business activities of the clinic including:
management of staff rosters;
co-ordinating the training of support staff;
working with the General Manager to prepare annual budgets;
monitoring key performance indicators and setting fees;
maintaining clinic inventory and an inventory control system;
managing the clinic’s software system; and
implementing safety and security procedures.
This is a leadership position with the additional responsibility of ensuring a positive work environment in which the clinic achieves its goals.
The position would suit a person who has a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a Management position and has knowledge of the veterinary industry. You will be looking for a new challenge where you are able to lead a team to ensure excellent customer service and clinical management of cases. Previous experience in rostering and mentoring/managing a team is highly desirable.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Continuing education is encouraged and supported.
