Management (Community Services & Development) Palliative Care South Australia (PCSA) is a leading charity and independent peak body representing palliative care providers, consumers, their families, and those with an interest in palliative care in South Australia.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Programs Manager who will lead a small team in the delivery of our key programs. The role is offered on a part-time basis and will play a pivotal role in the success of PCSA.
PCSA is a small and vibrant team delivering several initiatives to support our vision. The position would be suited to someone actively looking to make a difference working in the not-for-profit, community services sector.

This position is responsible for overseeing, implementing, and managing several projects, particularly Palliative Care Volunteering SA, Ambulance Wish SA, PEPA/IPEPA SA, and Compassionate Communities SA.
The role can be undertaken across 5 days, with Thursday being included as a working day.
Coordinate project activities to ensure projects are planned, developed, and delivered in line with contract/agreement deliverablesManage multiple projects, monitoring tasks and outputs, ensuring KPIs and deliverables are metCoordinate with stakeholders to communicate project statusImplement process improvements and monitor program performance metricsDevelop, maintain, and be a role model for a strong working culture, leading the team to ensure quality projects are delivered on time and meet required outcomesOversee and maintain project tracking systems to ensure tasks, schedules, and activities are maintained. Conduct regular follow-ups with team members or volunteers on task status.Provide project management and guidance to the project teamSkills and Experience Required Qualification in Community Project Management (or similar) and at least 2 years of experience in project managementStrong leadership skills with the ability to provide clear direction to direct reportsDemonstrated experience in contract, compliance, and risk managementDemonstrated experience in delivering (collating and writing) reports for multiple levels including governance committeesHigh digital literacy skills (including accurate record coordination, activity tracking, reporting using Office365, PowerPoint, Teams/Zoom, Monday.com)Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management experienceProactive problem solver and ability to negotiate and manage conflictAbility to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and maintain appropriate professional boundariesA shared passion and determination to play a key role in delivering the mission and vision of PCSAStrong role subject to National Police Check, current driver's license, and right to work in AustraliaYour application will include the following questions:
