Join our People & Culture Team as a Communications and Engagement Specialist!
You'll drive internal and stakeholder communications, boosting employee engagement and experience.
Work closely with the Head of Internal Communication to keep our channels vibrant and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:Internal Communications:Manage and coordinate internal communication across all channels (The Pool, posters, emails, etc.
).Plan, maintain, and implement the content calendar.Coordinate internal communications campaigns and events (Townhalls, CEO Awards, etc.
).Ensure intranet content is up-to-date and relevant.Support internal communications to boost employee engagement.Employee Experience Communication:Develop and oversee internal communications to support employee experience.Create and distribute electronic staff newsletters.Coordinate employee engagement activities and events.Develop and distribute EDMs for internal stakeholders.Publishing and Digital Communication Channels:Manage and implement staff electronic newsletters and publications.Publish updates to QTC's SharePoint Intranet and social media channels.Provide analytics reports as needed.Team Administration:Provide proactive team administration support.Coordinate supplier management for Internal Communications deliverables.Manage stakeholder enquiries efficiently.Support project management and research for various communications projects.Qualifications:Essential:3+ years demonstrated experience in a similar communications roleTertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g communication, journalism, PR, media, marketing or similar) or significant equivalent contribution and understandingDemonstrated corporate writing experienceDesirable:Experience could have been gained in an in-house marketing/communication/media/pr roleExperience in SharePoint Intranet Modern (or other Intranet Platform), PowerPoint, design skills in Adobe Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator and Acrobat ProEvents/digital media qualification and/or equivalent work experience with a folio showing examples of workExperience with photography for use in communications rolesFinancial market experience or other comparable sectorsCompetencies:Technical:Ability to write clear, concise communication for different audiences.Desktop publishing skills in Microsoft software suites.Publishing skills in SharePoint and electronic newsletters software.Design skills in Adobe Photoshop (desirable).Behavioural:Integrity with confidential matters.Strong relationship-building and engagement.Proactive problem solver with drive.Continuous improvement and team support.How to Apply:Passionate about internal communications?
