Our footprint in the Tasmanian landscape is set to increase significantly in 2025, with a new entertainment, food and beverage precinct set to open. This new precinct will include a world-class 28 bay driving range and an extraordinary mini golf facility, plus a café, bar, and quick service restaurant.
What you can expect in a day in the role: Our passionate team has created delicious and seasonal on-trend menus to cater for all culinary tastes. We now need creative, passionate, hard-working chefs to deliver these excellent menus and offerings in the following roles:
Production of Sandwich/Salads across our cold offerings sectionAdditional Cook or Commis Chef in a generalised positionAs members of the team, you will deliver a menu of fresh, local, and modern cuisine for all-day dining options including breakfast, lunch, dinner, take-away offerings, and a range of exciting food offerings for various events, celebrations, and functions.
Tasks will include but are not limited to: Assist the senior chefs in preparing a variety of meals according to menu and ordersWork efficiently to ensure timely delivery of dishes to guestsComply with safety and health policies, procedures, and role responsibilitiesSetup and cleaning of the kitchenWhat you'll bring to the role: To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team while being able to perform the physical duties of the role. An enthusiastic and motivated approach to work and the ability to work in a high-paced kitchenGood communication and time management skills with high attention to detailThe flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts across a 24 hour/7-day rosterAustralian working rights that allow you to work Full-Time hours or more per weekIdeally 2 years' experience or more working in a similar position as a cook or Commis chef in a busy fast-paced kitchenCertificate III in Commercial Cookery (desirable)An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
