The Role Are you an organised and proactive individual with a passion for delivering exceptional administration support? Guide Dogs Queensland is seeking a dedicated Commercial Operations Admin Officer to join our dynamic Community Engagement department, based at our stunning head office in Bald Hills. This position plays a crucial role in our Commercial Operations team, which focuses on essential administration support to our revenue-generating activities, including our lottery, merchandise, and other programs.
Reporting to the Commercial Operations Admin Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
Answer inbound calls promptly and according to procedures. Process merchandise and lottery orders accurately, including managing returns and refunds. Assist with administrative tasks across various programs such as Wine, Merchandise, Regular Giving, Online Purchases, and Lottery. Maintain up-to-date supporter details in databases. Support lottery program administration and social media data preparation. Assist the Telefundraising team with processes and system support. Participate in Public Relations and Fundraising events as needed. About You Our successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate:
Exceptional customer service and telephone etiquette. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to maintain positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask. Excellent computer literacy, including the use of Microsoft Office suite. Ability to work autonomously, as well as within a team. Demonstrated ability to optimize administrative processes and implement improvements. Strong organisational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail. Candidates with experience in the not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded.
