Commercial Manager

We are working with our client to identify a Commercial Manager based in Brisbane. The role responsibility includes all customer, partner, and subcontractor contracts and relationships within a project, for the entire project lifecycle. The role requires a dynamic individual who understands the commercial and legal correlation between the company, the client and the project(s). Candidates who have the personal drive and tenacity to work through complex projects and good contract negotiation skills should apply. This is an exciting opportunity to join a great team.
As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for:
Drafting and collaborating with senior leaders by ensuring fair and equitable treatment under law Understanding contract problem resolution paths, including formal dispute avoidance and/or resolution The Role: Develop Negotiation Strategies Conduct assessment on all change proposals/requests and advise Manage overall Commercial and risk for each assigned project Prepare, approve and execute contract change orders, and contract amendments Plan negotiation strategies, with legal acumen for optimum results Guide and train managers on best contract management practices Experience Required: A track record in contract negotiation A traceable history in contract management and risk/opportunity identification You will have ASDEFCON and/or construction law experience Good customer relations and communications skills Must have experience in Complex and/or Critical Systems A track record as a Commercial Manager is a must Legal experience and/or qualifications are essential Applicants MUST hold an AGSVA issued security clearance to apply APPLY NOW - This is an urgent role and we are interviewing immediately.
