Our proprietary loan origination system supports our dealers and distributors to facilitate seamless, convenient and customer focussed finance solutions for consumers and businesses.Due to continued growth of our business, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Late Arrears Collections Officer.ResponsibilitiesManage an arrears queue of work through outbound and inbound calls from customers and/or business partners.Respond to written correspondence received from customers and/or our business partners.Identify risk and ensure matters are escalated promptly to help mitigate losses, complaints or poor customer/business outcomes.Negotiate payment plans utilising active listening and negotiation skills, while also delivering an exceptional customer experience.Keep clear, concise, and accurate customer records in the designated systems.Ensure all actions meet regulatory requirements governed by the NCCP, Privacy Act, RG 165 and internal processes and procedures.Take ownership of complex matters and participate in change implementation activities.Contribute to the success of the wider Retail Operations team, by supporting other areas from time to time.Your backgroundExperience working in Financial Services, preferably the Automotive/Asset Finance industry.Relevant late-stage (31 days+) collections in a fast-paced responsible lending environment using a dialler system.Familiarity with skip tracing and its associated tools.Sound understanding of NCCP and the Debt Collections Guidelines would be highly valued.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation capabilities.High level of attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to learn and/or explain complex processes.Benefits of working at Allied CreditHybrid working arrangements; we are always willing to discuss flexible working options.Access to our exclusive corporate superannuation fund.Salary Continuance Insurance (covering TPD insurance).Discount offers on selected retailers, car loans and novated leasing options.Ongoing extensive in-house and external learning & development opportunities.Wellness day with ongoing wellbeing, diversity program & fundraising events.For further information on Allied Credit, please visit our website at https://alliedcredit.com.au/.Please contact Alex Kelly on 0484 109 354 for a confidential discussion.
