About the role As our new Credit Officer, you will be the primary communication to the customer in respect of cash collection and credit issues. You will ensure key relationships are maintained whilst maximising cashflow. Key responsibilities: Own credit issues and develop action plans to resolve any credit issues. Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders. Ensure payments are made in line with agreed payment terms. Ensure high level of accuracy with allocating customer payments. Ensure proper collection limits are in place for overdue debts. Our ideal candidate is a proactive team player with a can-do attitude and strong people skills. You are solutions-focused and enjoy problem-solving. Being a high performer, you bring lots of energy and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Minimum requirements: A qualification within commerce or accounting. Solid experience within Collections roles including handling large volume of calls. Exposure to ERP systems - SAP, JDE or Symix is preferred. Previous experience working within the construction industry - highly desirable.
