About the role (your why)
As a Principal Consultant you'll lead out customer engagements, assessing their needs and developing and implementing industry leading roadmaps and solutions leveraging cloud and digital technologies.
You'll focus on solving customer business challenges and will provide enablement not only in the technology but also in modern ways of working to support its use.
This a flexible and varied role working as part of a high performing team across a diverse range of customers, making use of all aspects of the cloud ecosystem to:
Be a trusted advisor for all things cloud and digital
Guide and inspire our customers on the benefits of cloud and digital
Lead Pre-Sales engagements and help drive conversion of opportunities
Lead strategy, assessment, and roadmap engagements
Provide enablement & guidance in cloud native practices and modern ways of working
What you'll bring
You will be an experienced and trusted thought leader and be passionate about the future of work, emerging technology, cloud transformation, and solving customer challenges.
You'll be a cloud native who leads and inspires the benefits of cloud and emerging technology, automation, and enables a DevSecOps culture.
You'll know that successful technology adoption requires people and process change and enablement.
You'll be comfortable working individually and as part of a team, and be able to take accountability of outcomes and results.
You'll have a strong consultative approach and great presentation skills; you'll understand the business benefits and economics of cloud and digital technologies and be able to communicate these well in written and verbal form.
You'll have significant experience in cloud adoption and in designing and building solutions leveraging cloud and digital technologies via AWS and/or Azure (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) including the use of IoT, data and AI.
You'll understand modern operating models and ways of working with associated experience in enabling CloudOps, DevSecOps, FinOps, and/or Agile ways of working and practices.
You'll have experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code with knowledge of the tools including ADO, Terraform, Cloud Formation, CDK, Bicep etc
You'll have strong familiarity with cloud provider specific Cloud Adoption and Well Architected Frameworks.
You'll be commercially astute, with experience leading proposal and SOW development, and have a reputation for delivery where joint value is realised.
Must be an Australian Citizen willing and able to attain a minimum of NV1 Security Clearance. Must be based in Sydney.
