Role Overview: The Cloud Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the product development lifecycle, driving the execution of the product vision and strategy, and managing the product backlog.
They will work closely with stakeholders and service customers to understand their needs, translate them into product roadmaps, and collaborate with the Cloud Engineering team to deliver features that meet client needs.
Accountabilities: Collaborate with various teams to execute the product vision and strategy for foundational infrastructure platforms.Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate them to Cloud Engineering.Provide strategic advice to promote operational effectiveness and continuous improvement initiatives.Optimise Cloud infrastructure through cost analysis, migration, troubleshooting, and development.Maintain the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring alignment with the product vision.Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure platform success.Champion Agile methodologies to manage the product development lifecycle.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Cloud infrastructure.Report on product progress and customer satisfaction to the Senior Manager.Identify opportunities for performance improvements and implement necessary changes.Skills and Experience: Tertiary qualification in Information Technology (or equivalent) with relevant experience in managing complex projects.Strong understanding of Azure IaaS and PaaS offerings.Experience in data extraction from Azure, M365, and Power Portal.Deep knowledge of Azure, Power Portal, and M365 Environment management best practices.Experience working in SCRUM / Kanban teams.Experience in product management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Analytical mindset to make informed decisions using metrics and client feedback.Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).Ability to create and present product demonstrations and materials.Commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives, and values.To Apply: Submit your CV, Cover Letter, and responses to the Skills and Experience outlined above.
