Description Sydney or Melbourne location with flexible working Be a part of a world class team How will I help? As the Senior Azure Cloud Engineer you will play an important role in the development and maintenance of technical solutions on the public cloud and ensure that the detailed design, build, and operations are fit for purpose.
You will be responsible for detailed designs, technical specifications, build and automation across service offerings and the cloud platform.
What will you do? Design, build, and automate Azure Services with a focus on security, compliance, and cost optimization using Terraform for Enterprise consumption.Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the banks Azure platform, it's patterns, and tools.Engage with customers, gather requirements, and plan/schedule deliveries.Diagnose and resolve complex service issues across infrastructure and applications.Facilitate solution design and delivery phases to ensure timely resolution of design issues.Ensure end-to-end compliance, security, and pattern automation best practices.Provide expert input on capacity planning, performance monitoring, and tuning for cloud platform stability.Liaise with stakeholders and suppliers, fostering a collaborative "one team" mindset.Stay current on industry and technical trends to evaluate and recommend improvements to Azure offerings and automation.Apply Agile frameworks and techniques to deliver business value.What's in it for me? What do I need? A broad experience in many Azure technologies and the proven ability to dive deep into any on an as need basis.Expert experience in IaC using Terraform to create reusable modules for enterprise consumption across the bankExperience in one or more DevOps automation tools including BitBucket, Jira, Azure DevOps and JenkinsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAzure cloud certifications highly regarded.What's it like to work there?
