Our subsidiary, Fusion Clinical Research (Fusion), is a dynamic phase II-IV clinical research organisation using a Hub and Spoke operational model. Fusion utilises multiple GP clinic networks and associated specialist clinics to undertake clinical trials.

About the role: Fusion is seeking casual Registered Nurses to conduct clinical trial-related tasks in line with clinical research protocols as approved by local ethics committees.
Fusion Clinical Research predominantly operates day shifts within business hours Monday to Friday; rare occasional flexibility to work weekends may be required.
This is a casual position with the possibility of permanency.
Key responsibilities include: Providing nursing care and monitoring the wellbeing of patients/healthy participants;Performing basic clinical procedures such as vital sign measurements, ECG, and biological specimen collection;Administrating oral, intramuscular or intravenous medications/vaccinations;Venepuncture (as relevant to trial activities);Monitoring adverse events;About you: We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can demonstrate meticulous attention to detail to ensure strict adherence to defined study protocols.
Applicants must hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Qualifications in cannulation and venepuncture will be highly regarded.
Successful applicants will be required to attend a mandatory 5-day induction. On-the-job training for all clinical assessments and buddy shifts will be provided.
