Clinical Nurse Specialist - CATT (520134L1)Australia, TasAbout the Tasmanian State ServiceThe Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels.Role Overview:Provide discipline-specific clinical expertise, supportive advice, and clinical care across the broader community including in-reach into the ED as required, based on best practice principles and legal and professional requirements, using specialist assessment and screening tools to deliver improved outcomes for patients presenting with mental health concerns and/or addiction-related comorbidities.You will need:Demonstrated high-level skills, knowledge and clinical expertise in the area of Mental Health nursing.Demonstrated advanced written and oral communication, liaison, interpersonal and counselling skills within a multidisciplinary team environment.Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and documentation, including the Mental Health Act, Right to Information Act, Work Health and Safety legislation, and Agency policies and procedures.The Team:The Crisis Assessment Treatment team (CATT NW) is a community-based mental health multidisciplinary service that delivers coordinated, assertive case management including triage, crisis, intake and assessment, and the development and implementation of care planning for designated clients.Details of appointment:Permanent, full-time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Note: hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.Salary: $103,466 to $109,165 per annum.
