The purpose of this role is to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for consumers/patients with a variety of conditions and support the general function of the unit through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based consumer/patient focused care, education, leadership and portfolio management.
In addition, this role will provide support and direction to the Registered Nurse and other non-registered nursing personnel in more complex situations.
