Nurse level 3 - Remuneration Package Range $126,639 - $135,192Mental Health Inpatient Unit Alice SpringsOne vacancy is available, either ongoing or fixed for 18 months.
Applies advanced nursing/midwifery knowledge, skills, attributes, and abilities within a specified area of clinical practice in therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, as well as with families, groups, and communities.
The clinician will take a lead role in a multidisciplinary team utilising prior extensive experience in a mental health inpatient setting to conduct a range of assessments and provide therapeutic interventions and education on mental health issues to staff, clients, and family members. The role requires a strong cultural safety framework, a commitment to evidence-based practice, and experience working within a clinical mental health leadership role.
Key duties and responsibilities

Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective evidence-based nursing/midwifery care to achieve identified individual/group health outcomes.
Provide leadership and care coordination across a shift and act as a resource to other members of staff within a designated portfolio e.g. education, NSQHS Standard.
Accountable for the planning, provision, and communication of nursing/midwifery care, including the evaluation and required revision of practice.
Demonstrate NTH values - safe; responsive; kind – in all decision-making and interactions with consumers and colleagues.
Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership practices and role modelling behaviour.
