Community Mental Health is looking for a Clinical Nurse Consultant to join their Community Care team.
This role is designed to offer clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced leadership in the mental health specialty.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) delivers both direct and indirect care as needed, collaborating closely with the Team Leader, Nurse Educator, and the broader mental health care team.
Together, they ensure the clinical unit provides safe, high-quality healthcare by upholding exceptional clinical nursing standards specific to mental health nursing.
About the Role Supporting the onboarding and clinical development of new staff and early career practitioners through mentoring and supervision.Providing advanced clinical expertise to support clinicians in the management of complex consumers.Working in collaboration with allied health seniors to scope, develop and promote the delivery of a range of specialist interventions within the team and across the PAH service.Working with nurses to support the delivery of specialist and discipline-specific nursing interventions as part of the AIMS model of care.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence shape our culture within Metro South Health.
