The Department of Health are seeking a highly self-motivated Clinical Nurse Consultant - Clinical Lead to join their Mental Health Services Team, located at South.
Please note this position is also being advertised as a Clinical Lead (517884d) and only one position will be filled on merit. Please note this positionis eligible for a Multi Disciplinary Allowance. The role: As part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, Mental Health Services Principles, National Metal Health Standards, Agency policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies, the Clinical Nurse Consultant - Clinical Lead will provide high level support to the Team Leader, within the relevant community mental health service, in the provision of:
Leadership and direction in the strategic development and management of a comprehensive multidisciplinary community mental health team.Effective management of specified human and physical resources.Leadership, direction and change management to facilitate the progression of the current Mental Health Service Strategic Plan through the implementation of the associated model of care, and relevant service policies, procedures and guidelines.Optimal clinical processes and individual client outcomes.Enhanced consumer and carer participation at all levels of the service.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
The team: This position is part of Continuing Care Stream and is based at Clarence.Cohesive and supportive multidisciplinary team.Details of Appointment Permanent full time, day workerposition working 76hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.Salary:$111,506 - $118,336per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance withNurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and possess specialist tertiary graduate or post graduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification; or completed, prior to the transfer of nurse education to the tertiary sector, an accredited hospital based program that led to registration as a psychiatric nurse by the relevant nurse regulatory authority within Australia, New Zealand, Canada or the United Kingdom

Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee's responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change.
