Southern Cross Care has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Manager to lead the care team at our Oasis Residential Aged Care Home in Mildura, Victoria.
This is a 6-month limited term contract.
Based in the picturesque northwest Victorian city of Mildura located on the banks of the Murray River, this role offers an opportunity for you if you are looking for a change of scenery and a medium-term assignment.

Demonstrating expertise in contemporary clinical practice, you will share your knowledge of the highest standards in person-centred care, empowering your team to deliver advanced clinical and holistic care to our residents.
Working closely with a supportive Residential Manager, your role is pivotal in promoting a culture of service delivery that enhances the lifestyle experiences of residents.
You will champion a strong teamwork approach to residents' care, providing mentorship and guidance to your team.
Your excellent management and communication skills, coupled with a passion for developing and growing your staff, will ensure seamless coordination of the care team, ensuring they are equipped to deliver the highest level of care to our residents.
What are the key responsibilities? Clinical oversight of the facility, including all clinical reporting and documentationFocusing on our staff to ensure they are Known and Loved, supported, and educatedManaging the clinical team's timely and accurate documentation of resident care needs from initial admission, assessments to care plan development and regular reviewsEnsuring sound medication management and associated systemsStaff training, provision of ongoing management and support to all care staffEnsuring compliance with the Aged Care Accreditation Standards, in consultation with the Residential Manager and Care teamWhat will you bring to the role? Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and Gerontology Nursing Certificate and/or Dementia Care Certificate would be highly regardedPrevious management experience in a clinical Aged Care environmentYou will be confident and competent with being accountable for the clinical care provisionsDemonstrated history of successfully leading and mentoring staffProactive and energetic approach in managing your time effectivelyDemonstrate a strong working knowledge of care minutesProven track record in understanding and meeting the requirements of accreditationApproachable and self-assured communication styleWho is Southern Cross Care Queensland?
