Join us as Clinical Lead in our Emergency Department leadership team, focused on delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient paediatric care.Be a driving force in shaping a state-of-the-art paediatric emergency care model.Step into a leadership role where you'll recruit and mentor medical staff, set quality benchmarks, and implement safety strategies that make a tangible difference.Expand your expertise through dedicated paediatric education initiatives, research involvement, and the chance to contribute to academia, with potential ties to Monash University.What You Will Be DoingAs the Clinical Lead of Paediatric Emergency Medicine, you will provide high-quality patient care at Frankston and Rosebud Hospitals, overseeing junior medical staff and coordinating with inpatient and community providers. You'll play a key role in developing care pathways, enhancing patient safety, and collaborating on recruitment, staff appraisal, and rostering. In an academic capacity, you'll lead and support paediatric education and research initiatives, with potential for a Monash University appointment. Additionally, you'll work with the Emergency Department leadership to uphold and improve accreditation with key medical colleges.What You NeedCurrent registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency.Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and/or the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM) endorsed by the Joint Training Committee (JTC) in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. Applicants without PEM endorsement but with extensive clinical experience in paediatric emergency may be considered.What NextApply now!
