**About the Role**
This is a clinical leadership position working across addiction psychiatry. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team environment. The role offers a package of $350,000 - $500,000 p.a. + generous relocation allowance. Additionally, the position includes a professional development allowance and professional development leave of 3.6 weeks p.a. Eligible health workers may qualify for a Workforce Attraction Incentive payment. The location offers a warm climate, beautiful scenery, easy access to Australia's iconic Great Barrier Reef, stunning rainforests and outback adventures. Permanent residency support is also available.
**About the Hospital and Mental Health Service**
This position is associated with a large referral hospital in Far North Queensland, servicing a population of over 250,000 people. The service provides quality public health and clinical interventions which are evidence-based and reflect contemporary best practice. The hospital has a strong focus on emerging technology, excellence in health care, teaching, research and empowerment of mentally ill individuals. Quality mental health services are delivered across various settings including a 38 bed Acute Adult Mental Health Unit, 10 bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, 12 bed (sub-acute) Adult Unit and a 20 bed Community Care Unit. Dedicated and experienced multidisciplinary teams provide an extensive range of services at more than 30 regional, rural and remote facilities across a geographical area of 142,900 square kilometres.
