About the RoleYou will oversee the delivery of statewide, person-centered services for LGBTI communities across Queensland.
This strategic and operational role is vital in managing a diversity of health services including general practice, psychological supports and community services, leading clinical governance, and establishing best practices through a clinical services framework.
Key responsibilities include: Developing client-led service delivery programs addressing diverse health needs Managing stakeholders across multi-disciplinary clinical services, including government and private funders Management of grant-funded budgets, expenditure and risk
Skills and RequirementYou will hold qualifications, or equivalent experience, in a health-related discipline and have hands-on experience in clinical operations or community settings, ideally including remote practice supervision.
You have a solid understanding of healthcare regulations and the Queensland health system, along with strategic planning skills in clinical service development, research, and training.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities, particularly with senior clinicians, are also crucial for success in this role.
Additionally, you will bring a commitment to clinical governance and best practice in healthcare, alongside experience partnering with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led organisations.
Financial management, budgeting, clinical redesign and business case development skills are key, while experience within a holistic health service model is highly desirable to align with the organisation's commitment to comprehensive, inclusive care.
