Client Project Manager - Aviation

Our client, Launceston Airport, is gearing up for an exciting phase of growth.
They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support their capital development projects.
This role will lead a range of key projects, from terminal upgrades to airfield improvements, ensuring high-quality delivery within a live airport environment.
Role Overview:
In this role, you'll manage the delivery of major capital projects, keeping them on time, on budget, and up to industry standards.
You'll work closely with various stakeholders and oversee consultants and contractors to ensure success.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee capital development projects to meet milestones and high standards.
Lead project teams from feasibility through to completion, ensuring regulatory and business goals are met.
Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, and other airport partners.
Oversee safety, environmental, and quality compliance for all projects.
Handle project financials, progress tracking, and permit management.
Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the project delivery team.
Foster a positive, high-performing project team culture.

About You:
Background in Project Management for construction, building, or civil infrastructure projects.
Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management is an advantage.
Strong experience in managing capital projects and budgets.
Proven skills in project and contract management.
