The Paediatric team consists of Paediatricians, Registrars, RMO's, Nurse Practitioners, nurses and admin.
Our administrative staff support our clinics held at the NWRH, as well as our outreach clinics across the Northwest of the state.
We are part of the broad multi-discipline outpatient team that supports our Paediatric patients.
All services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in Paediatric healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.
The Role:Provide and maintain a high standard of customer-focused clerical, administrative and reception services in the Paediatric Outpatient Department.Maintain confidentiality and work according to all Agency policies, procedures and guidelines.Ensure all information management systems are maintained and processes conducted in accordance with the relevant guidelines and protocols of the Agency.What we need:Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.Ability to facilitate and support management of daily clinics.Demonstrated skills to manage a patient database waiting list.Excellent communication skills, including face-to-face and phone experience.Strong time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.Problem-solving and decision-making skills.Awareness of cultural diversity and support the provision of culturally safe care within the workplace.Interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution.Details of appointment:Permanent, part-time, day worker position, working up to 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary:$64,125 to $68,925 per annum (Pro rata).
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.You'll have access to a range of salary package benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year, plus other benefits if eligible.
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria, including current Working with Children Registration.
