Casual and Permanent Part-time positions available  About the Role This role provides frontline reception, clerical and administrative support to the Sub Acute ward , Wyuna.
You will perform a wide range of administrative support tasks to assist and ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the ward.
This role promotes efficient teamwork and service provision both within the area and the organization and with other service providers.
Key Responsibilities  Maintains a customer focus and professional presence in the designated area.
Facilitates concise, appropriate, and meaningful communication with all   stakeholders.
Assists the Nurse Unit Manager or delegate where directed with tasks to ensure patient flow and access Responsible for AROC data collection pertaining to the Rehabilitation and GEM admissions.
Responsible for making appointments for the patients as directed by the ANUM.
Responsible for ordering items for the ward to ensure the needs of the ward are met.
Demonstrates efficient, timely and accurate preparation of Admission and Discharge paperwork.
Skills & Experience Demonstrates a person-centred care and respectful approach to patients, visitors and staff.
Maintains effective communication systems within the area Provides advanced levels of typing, data entry and data presentation for the nursing team where applicable to the designated area.
Demonstrates ability to collect and organise raw data and information according to the needs of the area To see a full copy of the Position Description please click here.

Further Information All appointments are subject to a satisfactory police records check, immunisation clearance and Working with Children check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
All employees must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required, which at a minimum is a surgical mask.
Additional PPE requirements are role-dependent.
