This business is at the forefront of a fast-paced and highly competitive industry and the career progression opportunities are limitless.Your new role:Reporting to the Management Accountant, your main purpose will be the processing of rebate and deal claims and payments, claim verification, journal entries and deal approvals. You will be responsible for the following but not limited to:Complete weekly journal entries into ERP systemOversee and verify claims processing for rebates and deals across all divisionsEnter payment data for cheque payments into the AP systemUpload approved rebate data and generate credit notesPrepare ad hoc reports and reconciliation of data and transactions as requiredWork closely with the Credit team to facilitate claims processingMaintain the documentation in the required formatAssist the team to update data for trade spend filesManage the entry of accruals through to final costs of all requests from the sales team for O&A spend in accordance with delegated authoritiesTrack actual claims from customer and reconcile to trade spend master files and accrualsMaintain supporting work papers and information to show how reconciliations and calculations are performedCreate an accurate and efficient process to calculate monthly, quarterly, annual trade spend and reports required for customersFollow processes to enable the completion of customer claims and log issues for follow up until resolvedAbout you!The perfect candidate will be immediately available or will be able to start within a short time frame and will have experience in the following areas:Minimum 3 years' experience working in the Finance teamPreferred experiences with claims, rebates or working in the Credit teamFMCG / Manufacturing industry experience within a large organisation is highly desirableSolid intermediate to advanced excel skills and experience with big data is preferableExcellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skillsTenacity for identifying issues and communicating with the teamDemonstrate curiosity to develop an understanding of the why behind what is being processedSelf-motivated with a positive demeanourExperience with large ERP systems & BI tools is highly desirableOn Offer:This is an excellent permanent opportunity to be joining a highly reputable organisation who have held a strong market share within the Australian market.$40 per hour + superTemp to permanent opportunity.
