About the Role As a Civil Project Engineer , you will take charge of coordinating pivotal projects. Your responsibilities include providing expertise in civil engineering drawings, designs, and reports, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and industry best practices. Embrace the opportunity to contribute to ongoing improvements within the Civil team, offer technical leadership on complex engineering matters, and conduct insightful site inspections. Efficiently schedule resources, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and maintain accurate project records.
Skills & Experience As the successful candidate, you can anticipate a variety of responsibilities that draw upon your existing proficiencies as a Civil Engineer in design and project management. This position will enable you to grow your skills and expertise, requiring both effective leadership and strong technical proficiency. The position scope will consist of a variety of civil projects including:
Bulk earthworks Civil infrastructure Stormwater drainage Access tracks Major roads Intersections Erosion and sediment control design Candidates who have experience with Contract Administration and Construction Superintendence are encouraged to apply. Skills include:
Input, manage and review civil engineering drawings and design Ensure engineering design practices and standards in the organisation are in accordance with Australian Standards, guides and codes as appropriate, meeting industry best practice Review engineering designs, plans, prepare project specifications, scopes of work, services review and project opinion of probable cost Prepare concept, feasibility and detailed design documentation and obtain relevant reviews and approvals Meet with project team on a regular basis to provide advice and mentoring on operational, project and management responsibilities Conduct site inspections with clients, contractors, council, and regulatory authorities where required Requirements Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering Experience in South Australia Diverse experience within property and infrastructure projects High level communication, interpersonal and team management skills Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills Advanced initiative and ability to solve problems How to Apply If you believe you meet the above criteria and would like to join our team, click on the APPLY FOR THIS JOB button to submit your application.
