Job Description Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil Maintenance Worker to join Service Stream on our SA Water contract.
About the Role Service Stream's SA Water Project team are currently seeking Civil Maintenance workers to join our growing company. Your core responsibilities will include undertaking reactive water/sewer network maintenance tasks as required by our client. As such, you will be required to provide general labour and plant operating skills in the repair of water assets and other associated network maintenance activities in the Adelaide metropolitan area.
To be successful in this position you will be required to complete maintenance tasks and rectify faults effectively in a timely manner, whilst working cooperatively with all internal stakeholders meeting contractual targets in responding to and assessing all unplanned works.

Key Responsibilities Understand and comply with our safety/environmental policies and procedures, and promote health, safety, and environmental initiatives in the field and across the business. Effective and efficient rectification of water or sewer faults within priority time frames, across multidiscipline operations (emergency & planned works). Accurate submission and entering of work data via work order apps and supporting the ongoing development of the Dispatch teams knowledge. Consistently provide professional and courteous customer service to end users across the Adelaide metropolitan network. Positive promotion and support of a one team culture with Service Stream and SA Water. This opportunity will suit a highly motivated and outcome driven individual who has a passion for delivering positive client outcomes, and a knack for effective stakeholder engagement.
About You Experience in Civil Excavation Works (Water/Wastewater/underground infrastructure or allied maintenance industries). Current drivers licence essential (HR/HC/Excavator/Forklift highly desirable). Tickets highly desirable include White Card/Traffic Management/Confined Space. Experience with MS Word and Apps. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team, to achieve project goals and objectives. Tools of trade include vehicle, mobile, iPad/laptop (where required), PPE and uniform. As a multifaceted role, training and development is offered and participation essential. Applicants will be required to undertake a full health assessment and functional, national police clearance, right to work and reference checks.
