Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed construction drawings and long sections for retaining wall projects.
Support project design with technical specifications, engineering calculations, and compliance documentation.
Estimating material costs and ensuring finished works are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions.
Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and contractors to refine designs and ensure constructability according to Australian standards.
Use CAD and drafting software to modify and finalize designs for retaining walls and related civil structures.
Review project blueprints, specifications, and engineering plans to optimize construction processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
At least 2 years of experience as a Civil Engineering Draftsperson, ideally in civil infrastructure or retaining wall projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
Familiarity with Australian building regulations and construction standards.
Experience in subdivisions or retaining wall design is highly regarded.
