About the Role:
A great CAREER OPPORTUNITY has arisen for an experienced Civil Designer/ Engineer to prepare site plans, stormwater analysis and management, overseeing erosion control measures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
You will work within a small team of experienced Civil Engineers and Environmental Scientists to provide high quality and innovative engineering solutions & advice.
Whilst your technical aptitude is pertinent, it is your positive, dedicated and flexible approach that is critical.
Your passion for the industry, desire to learn and ability to fit within the team will be the key to your success.
As SEEC are looking for someone who is the right fit, we are happy to consider someone looking for either Full or Part time working hours and offer Hybrid working arrangements combining the Greenslopes Office and home.
Your Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
Successful completion of a Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering – Minimum Associate Diploma Level – With a MINIMUM of 3 years post graduate experience.
Stormwater longitudinal system (pit and pipe) design using DRAINS (or an equivalent software).
Cross drainage (culverts) design.
Drafting of civil and stormwater using Civil 3D or AUTOCAD.
Stormwater pollutant estimation and treatment modelling using MUSIC.
Design and documentation of stormwater quality infrastructure including associated engineering specifications and plans.
Report writing.
Flood modelling experience (TUFLOW) preferred.
Project management and client interaction experience preferred.
Experience in Erosion and Sediment Control desirable.
An eye for detail and focus on accuracy and Quality Assurance.
Willingness to learn & take instruction with the capability to quickly apply new skills.
Highly motivated, committed, team focused, flexible and reliable.
Passion, drive and enthusiasm for the industry, pursuing a career and delivering exceptional service.
Strong communication skills.
