About the role The primary focus for this role is to proactively cultivate a culture whereby children in our Kingdom Kids' ministry program, as part of the Wesley International Congregation, can encounter God, grow in their love for God, and grow towards maturity in Christ in Spirit, Word and deed in a safe, organized, and fun atmosphere.
Essential criteria The successful candidate for this role will have the following: Essential skills/knowledge demonstrates experience in Children's Ministry with relevant qualifications outstanding interpersonal skills and rapport building including children and parents that come from a wide demographic leadership skills including ministry teams, congregation members, professional staff proficient in basic computer skills in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Knowledge understanding and commitment to the vision, mission and Christian principles of Wesley Mission and its Word and Deed ministry commitment to and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ together with suitable knowledge, understanding and formal training of the Christian faith strong grounding in the Word of God knowledge and understanding of safe work health and safety practices.
Other Requirements hold and continue to hold a WWCC issued by the NSW Office of the Children's Guardian hold and continue to hold an entitlement to work in Australia experience in ministry to children with mental or physical impairment training in 'Godly Play' experience with running playgroups holds a current NSW driver's licence.
