The City of Canada Bay is a thriving, colourful community, surrounded by the beautiful bays of Sydney Harbour. The area is also known for its parklands, cycle paths and walkways.
Council manages a Bayside kids activities program that is run through the school holiday periods for children aged 5-12 years. A program is prepared for every break and full of activities that are varied to meet all interests. Activities include a variety of stadium sports, gymnastics, clinics and games.
The Children’s Programs Holiday Assistant will assist in the preparation and delivery of activities during the school holidays and in children’s programs across the centre. They will be required to create a warm, safe, enjoyable experience for children attending these programs.
Council is looking at creating a pool of casual Children’s Programs Holiday Assistant to work during the school holidays with the potential to pick up additional work in children’s programs throughout the year. If selected to be in the pool of casuals work is not guaranteed and will depend on the programs being offered and other staff availability.
Generally shifts would be between 8.00am to 6.00pm - Monday to Friday.
