The position ensures high quality education and care programs are delivered for children and families engaged in the service.
The Centre Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the centre providing early childhood knowledge, expertise and support to management, staff and families in accordance with the National Quality Framework, National Education and Care Regulations and the National Law.
The Centre Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining an Aboriginal cultural mentoring team that supports staff and children at the centre.
They will provide strategic leadership by contributing to Congress' planning and advocating for the needs of vulnerable children and the centre's program.
Congress has a strong focus on cultural safety and inclusion, the Centre Manager will ensure the delivery of supportive, culturally appropriate early childhood services and build on existing positive relationships with Aboriginal families to ensure, regular family engagement, increased enrolments, and increased children's participation and attendance.
