This role requires a highly organised individual who can manage cross-functional projects, lead key initiatives, and be a trusted advisor to the CEO. You will streamline internal operations, manage communications, and foster a culture of collaboration and efficiency across departments, especially in our fast-paced hardware startup environment.Targeting Commencement in January/February 2025Reporting to: CEOKey Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Execution:Support the CEO in shaping and executing the company's strategic vision.Translate high-level goals into actionable plans and monitor progress.Operational Support:Implement processes and tools to improve internal operations and support scalability.Manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely completion and resolving bottlenecks.Oversee internal communications to ensure all teams align with company goals.Leadership and Team Support:Facilitate collaboration among departments to foster a cohesive working environment.Assist in hiring and onboarding key personnel as the company scales.Financial and Resource Management:Support budget management by tracking expenditures and ensuring efficient resource allocation.Work with the CEO and finance team on fundraising efforts and investor relations.Culture and Employee Engagement:Foster company culture, ensuring the workplace remains collaborative and mission-driven.Create engagement programs that enhance employee morale and retention.External Relations and Partnerships:Manage external communication with stakeholders, partners, and suppliers.Support business development efforts by evaluating potential partnerships or market opportunities.RequirementsQualifications/Skills:Strong project management skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced hardware startup, balancing multiple priorities.Experience:Experience supporting leadership teams and managing cross-functional projects.Proven ability to manage strategic initiatives and track progress against key goals.Experience in hardware or product-focused industries is preferred but not required.Experience in budget management and working closely with finance teams.Personal Attributes:Honest, curious, inclusive, collaborative, transparent, and responsible.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.Ability to decompose problems, create solutions, propose direction and create initiatives to resolve said problems.Comfortable developing policies, processes, and procedures where there may be none.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive salary - $150,000 to $170,000 p/a plus superannuationFlexible Working HoursEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Collaborative and inclusive work environmentKite Magnetics is an equal-opportunity and equal-outcome employer.
