Clough has an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Chief Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our in-house Engineering Team in our Perth office! In this role, you will effectively provide overall leadership, technical authority, coordination and development of the process and process safety discipline, working closely with engineering managers (corporate and project) to ensure timely, cost effective and fit for purpose engineering and design output.

Your focus will include:
Governance of the required technically acceptable standard of work for the discipline.
Support engineering outcomes on studies, bids and projects, including recruiting and assigning key personnel and undertaking peer reviews and audits.
Delivery of technically acceptable engineering design services for approved work to ensure the development of high levels of client satisfaction and Clough's business needs.
Provide leadership, coordination, liaison and communication to ensure the discipline is fully effective within the overall group function and with other company divisions.
Manage and improve work performance of discipline including MPOE, development plans and skill / capability development in line with Clough's competency framework.
Provide input and participation for the company's graduate program, including graduate recruitment, development and mentoring.
What you will bring to the team: Previous experience in a leadership role with engineering contracting or consultancy organisations in one or more of the following sectors – Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals and Infrastructure / Utilities.
New Energy technology experience (concept through to delivery) highly desired.
The willingness to grow within a rapidly expanding company on a diverse range of projects.
Be a team player and leader with the ability to enable performance across multiple interfaces.
Have a passion for engineering and project excellence.
Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
