About The Role: As CFO, you will partner with the Founders, Board, and Leadership Team to drive the financial success of Euka Future Learning.
This role is pivotal in facilitating continued growth, optimising resources, and enhancing the capacity and capability of the team as we continue to grow and empower learners worldwide.
Responsibilities: 1) Finance & Compliance: Deliver robust and accurate management and Board reports on financial performance Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to develop annual budgets and long-term forecasts Ensure an effective internal control framework supported by financial and risk management policies Coordinate the company's first audit process and implement process improvement recommendations Manage the business' compliance and reporting obligations, including legal, tax and regulatory considerations, including managing the business' R&D tax claim 2) Systems & Data: Manage existing financial systems and implement improvements as Euka scales, ensuring systems are fit-for-purpose, scalable, and integrate seamlessly with customer-level data, focusing on organisational efficiency and best-practice process controls Utilise data analytics to provide insights that inform strategic thinking and support decision-making 3) Commercial & strategic advice: Contribute to Euka's vision by partnering with the CEO and Board to develop and execute Euka's ambitious growth plans Take ownership of the business's financial management framework that support Euka's growth objectives and mission Provide data-driven insights to influence operational decisions and long-term planning Manage commercial decision-making function for the business including challenging assumptions, providing data-driven insights to aid decision-making for the management team Link strategy to financial reporting metrics through business modelling and analysis 4) Management & Relationships: Manage the standing-up of the internal finance function (previously outsourced), creating a high-performing team providing value-add to the wider business Collaborate closely with other leaders across Engineering, Product, and Customer Success functions Manage relationships with key financial stakeholders such as auditors, banks, payment providers, insurers and relevant tax authorities 5) Corporate Finance: Assess prospective acquisitions and/or Corporate Finance initiatives, including financing.
Lead the ultimate sale process preparation, working with the Private Equity owners and external advisers, as well as oversee any bolt-on acquisitions and integrations.
Experience & Skills Minimum of 10 years experience in high-performing finance roles Prior CFO experience is desirable, particularly in a tech and/or PE environment; however, ambitious Corporate Finance and FP&A professionals, financial controllers or those looking to jump from professional service will also be considered Proven ability to elevate data-driven insights and deliver high-quality financial reporting Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; CA or CPA desirable Personal Attributes Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to challenge constructively during crucial conversations Analytical mindset that leverages data for informed decision-making Outcome-focused mentality paired with a hands-on approach to problem-solving Driven performer that can work collaboratively as part of a hard-working team to execute on projects and take ultimate accountability for delivery Ability to leverage technology for continuous improvement Alignment with Euka's mission to transform education while fostering trust within the executive team Next Steps Please email with your CV to get the conversation underway.
