The role itself?Working closely with the Directors and as a member of the Executive team, the successful person will need to:
Have a proven ability to lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting as well as managing all internal and external stake holders
Make recommendations to the executive team for improvements to operational processes and strategies, in line with a culture of continuous improvement
Communicate consistently, concisely and transparently with key staff across the businesses production sites; empowering key staff with precise financial information, support and guidance
Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and administration team
Lead the financial strategy through business analysis and financial modelling to drive change and stimulate growth
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, legislation and regulations
Support and improve current business processes through continuous performance improvement
Develop and implement business strategies that both promote and ensure sustainable growth
What kind of person will fit the role?To be considered for this position you must have:
Past experience working within a FMCG environment
5+ years' experience as an accomplished finance executive, with the ability to analyse, manage and control the financial matters of the business
Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Economics; CA or CPA qualifications preferable
Demonstrated knowledge and experience within agricultural, manufacturing or processing environments or similar including working knowledge of standard costing methodologies
Brilliant communication skills, both oral and written, and an ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
Strong accuracy, attention to detail and analytical skills
A confident, calculated professional with an innate ability to self-reflect and assess
Experience in complex Excel modelling, including creation of complex Financial Budgeting models
High level analytical and problem solving abilities with excellent time and organisational management skills
