The role involves working closely with the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, funding bodies, and the wider community to achieve the organisation's mission and objectives.
Key responsibilities include leadership and strategy, governance and compliance, financial and resource management, community engagement and partnerships, and human resources management.About youThe ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in senior leadership and/or management within the community sector, not-for-profit, or education sector.
You will have strong strategic planning, governance, and financial management skills, and be able to lead a small and experienced team of staff and volunteers.The successful candidate will also have a proven ability to maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders, and experience in securing and managing funding, grants, and sponsorships.
In addition you will have excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills.
