About the role We are currently seeking a motivated Chef/Cook who has the qualifications, experience and drive to become a member of the Tallangatta Health Service team.
In this role you will ensure food for our Residents is prepared and cooked to the highest possible standard, focusing on health needs, satisfaction and overall enjoyment. This role is also responsible for maintaining kitchen stock and ensuring a high level of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
This is a permanent part-time role up to 72hrs/ fortnight to suit your family or other commitments. The catering roster works on a seven-day roster from Monday to Sunday, between the hours of 7:00am - 5:30pm with rotating weekends off.
You will have formal qualifications, or demonstrated practical experience in a high volume kitchen. Experience in Aged Care or Health is highly desirable but not essential as we will train you.
