We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-time CHEF to join our team at CK GRIFFITHS & CO PTY LTD.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality menu food items. This includes promoting excellent standards of food quality and presentation, regulating portion sizes, and ensuring all food is prepared according to recipes in a timely manner.
About the RolePrepare, cook, and present all menu food items as outlined and specified on menus.Maintain high standards of food/meal quality and presentation, regulating portion size.Ensure all food is prepared to recipe and in a timely manner, ready to serve on time.Assist Chief Steward in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the operation.Lead employees by setting a positive example, instructing, and developing staff and apprentices.Assist Head Chef with menu preparation and ensure adequate supplies are available for expected service.Produce quality meals and food products for restaurants, banquets, and food outlets.RequirementsRelevant qualificationsAt least 2 years full-time employment experienceAwareness of WH&S policies and procedures, ensuring duties are conducted safely and within guidelines providedFamiliarity with property safety, first aid, and fire and emergency proceduresFamiliarity with operational guidelines for all equipment used in the outlet, ensuring safe and sensible operationEstimated Salary$74,000 - $76,000 per year
