Chef De Partie

The restaurant is fully licensed and offers a great range of local and international beers, wines & spirits. Some of your primary duties will include: Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices. Season and cook food according to recipes. Assist the Head Chef by managing quality control of all the dishes before they are served to the guests. Promptly notify the Head Chef of any maintenance problems or unsafe conditions in or around the kitchen. Properly care for food supplies and leftovers. Work with the Head Chef to coordinate the ordering of food and supplies. Work with the Head Chef to develop menus. You must possess the following skills: In-depth knowledge of Thai culture and cuisine. Ability to speak Thai and English. Attention to detail Business sense e.g. budgeting, inventory preparation etc. Cleanliness Creativity Fast-paced decision making Organised The minimum qualification is a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or higher. You must also have at least 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen for a Thai restaurant.
