We re seeking a talented full-time Chef de Partie to join our dynamic Kitchen Team at Q Station. In this role, you will be responsible for: Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes across à la carte service at our iconic waterfront restaurant, Boilerhouse. Supporting daily kitchen operations while upholding the highest standards in food safety and hygiene. Collaborating with the broader Q Station team to create unforgettable dining experiences for our guests. If you re a dedicated chef with a flair for leadership, creativity, and teamwork, we d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Participate in the preparation and service of food. Monitor the quality of the product served, ensuring that high standards are maintained. Complying with HACCP regulations to ensure the hygienic and safe preparation of food. Display genuine passion for cuisine. Assist the Head Chef in planning, preparing and developing menus. Keep communications between kitchen departments and Hotel operations updated. Effective communication with a large and diverse team. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and staff. Genuine interest in the day-to-day operations of the business. Time management during preparation and service periods. Desired Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume à la carte premium dining restaurant or venue. Formal qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III or above). You are highly organised and able to work under pressure. You demonstrate a clear understanding of culinary trends and customer needs. An understanding of cost and waste management of all food. Excellent interpersonal skills. High level of personal integrity. A capable contributor with good attention to detail. You bring a positive approach to your work a have a calm and composed demeanor. Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Maintain current Food Handler or Food Safety Supervisor Certificate. Maintain a current driver's license. The ability to drive a manual vehicle is advantageous!
