About the role
The Chef de Partie is responsible to support the Head and Sous Chef.
Ensures the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keeps up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques.

Skills and experience
Ideally you possess:
Trade qualifications
A minimum of two years of proven experience in a similar role
Proven experience in Japanese cuisine
High standards in food preparation
Ability to work within a team and follow instructions
Excellent organization and communication skills
Proactive, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Hardworking and desire to excel
You must be able to:
Execute products with excellent and refined culinary technical skill presented in a modern, creative and elegant style
Be well organised and prepared to go the extra mile for the satisfaction of guests
Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
Supervise and monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
Discuss food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
Demonstrating techniques and advise on cooking procedures
May be involved in selecting and training staff
Be available to work week days, evenings & week-ends because it's a rotating roster
Have unlimited working rights as this is a full-time role
