About Casey Stadium

Casey Stadium has recently seen the second stage of a $25 million redevelopment completed, which sees the facility boast five indoor cricket courts a dedicated gymnastics hall, 10 multipurpose indoor courts, including a 1400 seat capacity show court, function room, meeting rooms, café and large piazza. The state of the art facilities are enjoyed by the local community as well as more broadly as the facility regularly hosts events of significance.

Technology is integrated throughout, providing a progressive experience with the facility positioned as an industry leader. Located in Cranbourne East, Casey Stadium is home to Casey Gymnastics, the Casey Stars indoor cricket club and two Primary Tenants in Casey Basketball and Casey Netball.

Casey Stadium is an important community facilities managed and operated by the YMCA on behalf of the City of Casey.

The Centre Manager at Casey Stadium is pivotal to the success of YMCA Victoria in delivering on its mission and vision.

The Centre Manager will ensure the implementation of operational excellence across the Centre.

They will lead a multitude of business units including Customer Care, Indoor Sports, Gymnastics, Food and Beverage and Stadium Sports. Event management is also a key component of the role with Casey Stadium being purposely designed to host state and national scale events.

The Centre Manager will be highly visible within the centre and also within the local community, forming strong relationships and partnerships that add value to the business operations and ensure services meet the needs of our customer and communities.

Mandatory Pre-Requisite Qualifications

First Aid Level 2

CPR Certificate

Relevant Tertiary Qualification or equivalent workplace experience

Two years relevant management experience

Pool Lifeguard Certificate

YMCA, including Boards of Directors, is committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding Children and Young People framework. YMCA requires that all applicants undergo satisfactory screening prior to commencement, including but not limited to:

a national criminal history check

an international criminal history check where applicants have worked overseas

holding or obtaining a Working with Children Clearance/ equivalent in accordance with state/ territory laws

ACF Safeguarding Children and Young People Certificate (completion online prior to commencement)

Two reference checks

Any successfully appointed applicant will be required to adhere to the Safeguarding Children and Young People framework, which includes a thorough safeguarding children and young people induction and committing to upholding the safety and wellbeing of children and young people throughout their engagement with YMCA
